As part of the partnership with the USA, and in particular the bilateral memorandum of understanding between INRAT and the University of Wyoming, a delegation of five experts from this university visited INRAT in Tunis on and 9, 2025. The visit allowed the delegation to learn about INRAT’s activities and to discuss research programs with laboratory heads and scientists from different disciplines, as well as explore collaboration opportunities between INRAT and the University of Wyoming. The delegation visited INRAT’s applied agricultural biotechnology, field crops, and animal and forage production laboratories and interacted with scientists. Additionally, the delegation visited INRAT’s experimental station in Mornag to observe the research activities conducted by INRAT scientists, particularly those related to fruit trees (almond, citrus, vine, pistachio and figs) and cacti. During the debriefing meeting held at INRAT on , 2025, both parties agreed on areas and themes of research to be included in an action plan to be implemented in the near future.
