SCHEME & TRAINING CYCLES

Access to the long cycle (engineer and veterinary doctor) is by national competitive examination open to students of the preparatory schools run by the Ministry of Agriculture, Hydraulic Resources and Maritime Fishing and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, while access to the short cycle (bachelor’s degree) is directly open to holders of the baccalaureate diploma awarded on completion of secondary education.

Higher agricultural education covers a wide range of courses in nine (09) agricultural fields: agronomy, horticulture and landscape, rural engineering, agri-food, rural economics, animal production, fisheries and aquaculture, forests and natural resources, and veterinary medicine.
