The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) extends its warmest greetings to the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries and is pleased to announce the 2026 Cochran Fellowship Program (CFP) – Advancing Regulatory Approaches for Genetic Engineering of Plants. A total of 6 participants will be selected for this program.
In order to start the selection process, we respectfully request that you transfer the attached Cochran Fellowship Program Application to be filled out by potential candidates and return to the Office of Agricultural Affairs at the American Embassy in Tunis no later than . The selection interviews will take place at a later date. Please be informed that the Cochran Fellowship course costs are taken in charge by the USDA (registration, accommodation, meals, visits, medical insurance and transportation within the United States), while the international transportation and airport tax are to be taken in charge by the Tunisian government.
